Q IF I MAKE THE GREEN WAVE BASKETBALL TEAM, DOES
THAT MEAN I WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE ON THE HIGH SCHOOL TEAM MY FRESHMAN YEAR?
Q DO I HAVE TO PLAY GREEN WAVE BASKETBALL IN ORDER
TO MAKE THE HIGH SCHOOL TEAM?
A The answer to both of these questions
is NO!! We would hope playing on Green Wave would provide you with the
improved skills and abilities to make the high school team; however, there is always
a possibility you may not. You will have to tryout for the high school team
just like everyone else.
You do not have to play Green Wave
Basketball to be chosen to the High School team. There are generally 14 to 16
available spots on the Freshman team and even a possibility to move further up
into the program such as JV or Varsity.
